Note: India and Nepal are SAARC Nations and travel between the two countries are greatly encouraged. Indian citizens do not require a visa under any category.

Travelers would have to keep in his possession any of the following documents to establish his/her identity as an Indian citizen along with sufficient funds to cover his/her stay in Nepal India and Nepal by air.
