Fresh Passport
- Proof of present address.

Reissue Passport
For the re-issue of passport, you must have a valid reason. Some of the reasons are as follows:
- Change of personal particulars.
- Change of address.
- Lost or stollen passport.
- Damage of passport.
- Validity expired or due to expire.
- Exhaustion of passport pages.
Documents Required:
- Old passport.
- Proof of present particular changes.
- Documentary proof of Non-ECR eligibility (if available).
- For the passport application of minors, there's a need to submit self-attested copies of parents' passports.
Tatkal Passport
Tatkal passport has more requirements and higher fees than a normal passport. Whenever there's a need for urgent travel, you can opt for a Tatkal passport service. For this type of application, you can expect two results, the first is no Police verification and issuance of the passport within one working day after submission of the application, the second one is or police verification on a post passport issuance basis and passport dispatch on the third working day excluding the date of application.
Name Change
- Old Passport in original.
- Self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page.
- Page of observation (if any).
- Validity of extension page (if any).
- Proof of present address (if the address is different).
- Proof of name change. The applicant has to give advertisement in two reputed newspapers and also submit the name change data to the Gazette. The passport office demands a copy of the Gazette notification of the concerned State Government and newspapers.
- Self-attested copy of the spouse's Passport if the woman wants to change the name after marriage.
Add Spouse Name
- Old Passport in original.
- Self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page.
- Page of observation (if any).
- Validity of extension page (if any).
- Proof of present address (if the address is different).
- An attested copy of marriage certificate issued by Registrar of Marriage or joint Affidavit by the couple. There should be a photograph of the couple pasted on the affidavit.
Lost/Stollen/Damaged Passport (Reissue passport)
For the re-issue of passport, you must have a valid reason. Some of the reasons are as follows:
- Proof of present address.
- Proof of Date of Birth (DOB).
- Documentary proof of Non-ECR eligibility (if available).
- For the passport application of minors, there's a need to submit self-attested copies of parents' passports.
- Original FIR of lost or stollen passport.
- Self-attested copies of passport's first two and last two pages.
- Affidavit that state how passport get lost, damaged or stollen.
STEP 1
