Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is an island country in the West Indies and part of the Lesser Antilles island arc. The island country consists of the main island of Saint Vincent and 32 small islands. On the western coast of Saint Vincent there are plenty of excellent view of waterfalls to cool off or gaze on the lush scenery surrounding them. With numerous beaches, lush rainforests and a lot of islands to explore this place is a paradise for tourists.
Some of the iconic scenes in the movie "Pirates of the caribbean" were shot in Wallilabou bay of Saint Vincent. Some on the movie sets are still there and visitors can freely explore the area. Check out a small bar in La Rochelle which displays props from the movie.
Hike along the volcanic ridgelines in La Soufriere through banana plantations and rainforest or explore the 3 km well-marked Vermont Nature Trail where Vincy Parrot, Whistling Warbler or other rare native birds can be seen.
Some of the other famous place are Man-made Happy island, Walliabou heritage park, Kingstown market, Black Point recreational park and tunnel, Mopion island, Botanical gardens and many more.
Note: Indian citizens visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can visit without visa for maximum period of 30 days. However, they need to carry passport with the minimum validity of six months and confirmed return air ticket.
